Just wondering on any tips on a LCD 42" tv, Budget up to £1000

So lets the suggestions fly.

For me i would look at Sony, Philips and Samsung. All of the manufactures make screens that fit your budget, Samsung however do not make a 42" they make either a 40 or 46 both of which are in your budget.

Surely for that size you would want a Plasma and at that price a Panasonic, or do you have a specific reason why you want LCD?
