Word Press Theme

Hey there

I am trying to create a word press theme for a blog I am starting writing.

I have the design as it stands at the minute, all setup and ready to go (full CSS based layout), but am having an absolute mission of a time turning it into a wordpress theme.

I have followed multiple different articles about this, starting from cratch, none of which work at all :-( Judging by what they say, it shouldnt take too long once the actual design is complete. (these include modifying the default template etc...

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who would be kind enough to offer advice and advise/show me what is necessary to do this?

Make a copy of the default theme, throw away all the CSS from it (you don't need it), then go from there, it's actually pretty easy once you get going TBH - You've already done the hard part, the design.
