I've been emailed 2 .pdf files from a punter, one opens up and prints as I would expect, the other opens but the 'Print' icon in the top left corner is greyed out, and so is the print option on the pull down menu, and Ctrl P does nothing. confused
So how do I print it? :scatchchin:
I need to file the document with the rest of the project and at this rate it's going to have to be a screen shot. rotate

My guess is that whoever created the PDF deliberately disabled your ability to print - PDF has lots of security options in it to stop you copying text, printing etc if the creator selects that option. Your best bet is to try opening it in a non-Adobe PDf viewer (there are loads, Foxit is fairly good) and hope that it disregards this security information.

Thats what I've just found, it was locked and as the punter is round the other side of the world I'd have to wait a day for an unlocked copy so got all pikey on it and copied it into Word, printed out and it's good enough for what I need. smile
