Not sure I'd call it an 'epic thread' - that'd impose ridiculously low standards on this forum. But the OP certainly has put himself in the running for 'idiot of the year' on PH, if there was such an 'award'.

That said, I haven't spent any time in General Gassing for a while, there are usually some complete weapons grade bell ends in there...
