All the phone companies let you return after 14 days if you don't like it - just do that?

Does it? I'm not sure actually - I've only rung iPhone 4 friends to test it so wouldn't know!
Can I call you tonight to play test this theory? bounce

My battery lasted a solid 2 days with high brightness and everything enabled, it's been brilliant so far smile
Same for me!
snap. Been playing with it solidly since saturday and only this afternoon did I look at the 30% battery and thought "oooo, I'd better charge that"

Not any more Tony.
Only o2 do.
I know this as I wanted to "try" a blackberry for the 14 days to see if I could use it rather than the iphone.
All the shops confirmed they don't do the return now, other than O2, who were also keen to point out they were the only ones.
Surely if you bought on the phone / online, then distance selling regulations apply?
It does, but you can't use the thing. If you put any data through it, or call from it, you can't return it.
Ah right I didn't realise it was network specific. All I know is that when I ordered my phone over the telephone from O2 they made a point of telling me I had 14 days to send it back.

Some of the crap that employees of shops, networks etc. etc. come out with, you really just never know hehe

I think ours are similar; standby doesn't take much power at all, and the difference could probably be described by the different applications/call time we had.

Yup, mine is pretty much like my 18month old 3G was.

However, I look upon it that they've increased battery power, but then reduced battery life back to where it was by higher res screen etc. I was always happy with it, certainly.

I'd imagine so - though I REALLY need to understand the multi tasking better, I simply don't at the moment hehe

How DO you remove them?

Or am I being blonde?
Double click home to get into multi-tasking

Then hold one of the multi-tasking icons and they wobble. click the (-) and it removes it.

As a complete aside, my brother's just bought a Samsung Galaxy S (android phone) which was released today. Comically, the Orange guy at about 10am said "we've received 1000 of them for today. Oh, we've now got 999 left" hehe

Be interesting to see what he thinks of it - I'll have a play with it Friday.

Thanks everyone. Very old phone, unsupported by iSync and everything else. She's going to do it manually - I can barely get the thing out of her hands anyway...
Cant you just save all the contacts to sim? then absorb the contacts from the sim onto the iphone?

thats how I did an age old sony ericsson to iphone before?
frown Micro SIM in iPhone4
But you get an adapter so the micro sim fits into a normal sim slot...?
Yes...
My micro sim came as a normal sim, and yout hen snapped it out. So you could put the normal sim in your old phone, copy contacts, then snap the micro sim out and put it in the iPhone - it's certainly do able.

Edd that sounds quite ridicluous.

Someone above suggested that an errant App may be draining it - it's laborious, but have you tried removing all yoru apps and seeing if it's betteR?
