They really are nailing down everything that missing from the first one, shame I'm going to have to wait a year for it.
Me too, got the 3Gs last November, but that means we have the next version to look forward to Whats REALLY annonying is the g/f's 3G contract is up well before mine so she'll lay her hands on it first. Damm.
Well I caved in only 2 weeks ago and got a Desire. Around a £400 saving over 2 years compared to a similar iPhone tariff.
Did at first worry that I had done the wrong thing but I like the HTC now and although iPhone 4 looks nice, I'll wait and see what No6 is like when my contract expires in 2012.
Maybe by then there will no longer be iPhone specific tariffs.

iAds is looking good for developers, as long as they offer the same rates.
To those saying the ipad looks a little redundant, I don't really see it. The iphone has superb hardware and so on, but the ipad really is stunning to use for what it's intended. I reckon they sit comfortably together in the range without treading on eachothers toes. Plus, if the ipad had all that great stuff in, it'd be well into macbook territory price wise I'd think!

I'd be intersted to see how intrusive iAd is. If i've paid got knows how much for a device/app I don't want bloody ads in the way!!
I've been testing iAds out on my apps and they're no bigger than AdMob ads. At the end of the day, dev's who release free apps have to make their money somehow and if it's going to be a better experience for the end user then there's not a problem.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
