I've never had one. Still don't.
Really?, I understand some people can cope without a mobile but i seriously douobt i could cope without my phone as it keeps track of everything for me money, appointments etc. However I understand their convenience but can't help thinking with some people they have become almost addictive.

You're a bit slow, I edited that at 11.04
Sorry i got distracted half way between typing Way too many.
The NEC carphone was my first one.
A couple of Sagam ones and quite a few Ericcson GA628s. Went on holiday using this via dialup at 9600 with my laptop.
And I like the Nokia smartphone bricks 9000,9000i etc. Mainly for full-sized keyboard.
I have the Nokia 9300 and Nokia 5800 (horrible thing) would go next for a N61i or something.

That got me thinking... How many different handsets have you owned over the years?
I've honestly lost count - I would imagine a number close to 40. I ran a company who's clients included Nokia, Vodafone, Orange, T Mobile and a few others, so I was always able to get hold of the latest gadget and my assistant made it her job to ensure that the very latest phone was always available. My first phone was one similar (not quite the same) as this
My worst was the shiny metal Nokia one 8810
Currently have an iPhone which I think is the best of a long list.

The people here who work in telecoms or phone retail sales are going to have an enormous advantage over 'normal' people, who tend to switch based on contract duration and churn - hence the largest numbers will be from those who started using them at the beginning.
I had the same approach until I discovered that SIM-free phones and breaking the contract loop actually made financial sense (until I went mental by having to have the latest kit).
In total? Trying hard to remember... I've had 26 unless I've forgotten one or two. Maybe a couple forgotten actually, so between 25 and 30 I'd guess.

Got my first One in 1998 and have had 4 in total, all second hand.
The One I have now is a Sony Ericsson Walkman, I bought it for my son 3 or 4 years ago at a cost of £200.
three months later he started work and got himself a contract phone so asked if I wanted it to use myself.
A few hours passed and he came back home asking if I still wanted the phone as a mate of his had offered him £50 for it.
So. I ended up paying £250 for a second hand £200 phone.

Lucky you're more astute when it comes to buying motorbikes or you'd have a garage full of scooters and C90s that you swapped your Aston Martin for...The One I have now is a Sony Ericsson Walkman, I bought it for my son 3 or 4 years ago at a cost of £200.
