Black? Sim free? It should fetch around £ 300. If you ask less than that it'll be gone sooner of course.
Probably a bit less now - they're not far off that brand new.

Black, but not with my SIM of course. Considering a SIM is a tenner, I'll throw one in if required.

Thanks. Was hoping for around 300.

Aaah, I think it may be tied to O2. Aren't they easy to unlock?

Could be, not exactly up-to-speed on that, I always buy my phones simlockfree.

type *#7465625# into the phone key pad . This will reveal if any aspects of the phone are locked

(7465625 = SIMLOCK ) on the alpha-numeric key pad

I managed to make it last similar, doing pretty much the same as yourself, when I took a trip to Amsterdam. If you really need it to, you CAN make it last.

As I'll probably be keeping mine a bit longer than expected (no money for an upgrade this year even though contract is up and the current crop don't really "wow" me) I'm tempted to get the 2000 MAH battery and then you can have 2 batteries when out and about.

Like I said, it's actually a MUST to get this battery. biggrin

Prefer the 'stock' CM9 thanks.

Don't see the attraction myself.

Is it really THAT good? On paper its 20% better, but I didn't really think that was enough to justify it - actually, the fact of having the spare battery is probably more appealing!
Well, the change is one thing but to me it completes the look of the phone better, the entire back comes to the same level of the speaker chin, recessing the camera about half a millimetre.

On top of that, yes, on paper it's only 20%, but to me that was the difference between having to look out during the day and to not having to look out.

20% might not sound as much, but in true battery charge, it's the difference between 20h of use and 24h.
If you don't use the phone that much and a full day of use is done by the default battery, I think you're good, but to me it means the difference between looking out what I'm doing/giving it an extra charge during the day and not having to worry.

When it's late at night and you need a ride, it's the difference between having 5% left and having run out 3h ago hehe.

Well worth the £25 by any measure.

I prefer the bigger battery as well, makes the phone feel better.

Must admit, battery life ain't one of its strong points, and whilst the phone does get me through the day most of the time, sometimes it doesn't! Sounds like a good idea then possibly (apart from the advantage of having the spare in your pocket!). Does the original battery fit OK with the new back cover?

It does, I did put a little band-aid piece on it to compensate for the extra space, but I don't think it's really necessary, though I wouldn't want to risk it if it could "shake" and lose contact, shutting down the phone.

Thats a point...which browser is everyone using? The one that came with the phone seems kinda clunky.

I'm using Dolphin and it's brilliant. If you're on ICS (Android 4) then Chrome is good too although it's just in beta at the moment. A new mobile version of Firefox is due out any day which should be worth a look as well.

I generally use Dolphin Browser, except for posting on here, as the way it works with PH means I cant see what I'm typing for some reason!

I have been using Chrome Beta and it is working really well.

Much better than Dolphin I have found.
