Sounds easy eh, but try holding 5 gallons of petrol a foot infront of your stomach and see how easy it is. That would weigh just 16kg btw!

I was kidding. To do it gently and not chip the paintwork would be very tricky.

39kg for a glass panoramic roof may not sound so much, but even doing the standard roof safely is a two "reasonably in shape bloke" job. I'm no power-lifter (prefer term "racing driver build wink), but me and similar 85/90kg 6'2" mate put mine back on last week... it's never "hard", but you certainly have to concentrate to not damage paint, and not a straightforward task. Nor one I'd ever ask the missus to help me with!

I love those early 90s VHS tapes on youtube showing a yuppie male/female couple do it with absolutely no effort....

It can be quite awkward lifting from a hardtop stand, easier resting it on the ground 1st to get a decent hold.
