Why the requirement for the insurance to be thrown in with the lease? You just insure it like any other car only you have to declare that you aren't the registered owner of it, it's hardly ever an issue.

Insurance seems to be very expensive for the person I am buying the car for. So hence the question. Noticed Peugeot but yeah they're cars have nothing that attracts!
Anyone hear of one please let me know. Cheers

Anyone know of decent S350 lease deals. i'd expect some big discounts given the new model being released next year.

I'll have a look at how cheap I can get one tomorrow if you like, what spec, deposit/term/mileage are you looking for?

Might me easier just to look at the base spec as i assume one pays the options value over the life of the lease. 36 months with 8k a yr(10k if easier). 6 months down i suppose. Thanks Mat

I don't know much about the options but as long as all the soft close aids are present, the higher spec headlights, command, keyless entry, i'm happy.

Private lease, not through my business

My mother has just had hers delivered, I think it worked out at about £500 per month for two years, seems to be an absolute no brainer. The only downside was that the only cars available were fairly low spec.

Are the current C63 AMG lease deals as good as they seem? Seen some personal for at or below the £500 mark.

Interesting that this thread has risen - I am looking at leasing a C/E/CLS of some kind and scouring the usual sites - am I being naive hoping to see anything other than a base model diesel with alloys thrown on it being offered? I want something I will actually WANT to use for 2 years!!

The base spec is pretty good on those cars now. Snag with options and leasing is that the options tend to be more or less fully written down over the period of the lease, so if the car doesn't have COMAND than it can add £50/mth to the lease.

The websites wil feature the base models as they're cheapest, however they should be able to get you whatever you want.

That's a fair point - I don't want to pay too much more for luxury items I don't really need. I'm just not sure I can suffer a 4pot diesel with white or flat black paint.

Any "go to" places for deals on Mercs at the moment?

Yes they are. I have a new shape E63 estate on order for less than £600 inc vat per month on a personal lease. 2 year deal.
C63's are about £50-75 per month less.

May I ask who this is with, looking at an E63 myself? What are lead times like? Cheers

Personal lease deals have gone up a fair bit this quarter, however PCP deals are still getting as much support as business contract hire. Happy to look at figures for anyway if you have any specific requirements.

Wow, sounds like I was very lucky!

Strange, that it looks like the great lease deal is still there on a business deal, but not on a private deal on the E63. Good deals still there on private C63 though.
