Looking for a Mercedes garage who know old mercs. I have a 1966 sl which needs some complex engine work. Main merc dealers don't know what a 1966 merc is!

Anyone know a good merc mechanic in the petersfield, Guildford, Portsmouth area please?

Another vote for John Haynes, probably the most knowledgable garage in the UK for Mercs of this age.

Complex engine work on a 1966 engine?

If it's machine shop work it'll be subbed out by virtually all garages so perhaps what you need is someone who knows the cars, who can diagnose engine problems and be trusted to build a good engine - if it's engine building you need

I'd suggest AJ Robertson in Hove
