I am now looking at buying a CL63 AMG again, but the 5.5 version (2010+ facelift) this time. If anyone is looking to sell theirs, please contact me - I will certainly be interested.
I'm not selling one but my dad has had his 2012 5.5 for a year it's a great car he's had it lowered(via a Brabus Module) some alloys exhaust & a re map 679bhp at the crank, he had a 2008 CL63 before this(with pretty much the same upgrades) but he rates the 5.5 as a better car all round apart from the exhaust note which he said wasn't as good.My dad got his one from these guys:

My uncle has one of these & it's also a good ca not quite as good as the 63 but a good car no less 553 with the exhaust & a remap.

Oh wow, 679 bhp? Nice! Glad he's enjoying it. The exhaust note on the 6.3 was pretty awesome but if I'm going for a CL63 again, I've decided that I might as well go for the updated version (5.5 biturbo)! My dad got his one from these guys:

I can't blame you it's a great car & the BiTurbo engine is great, as for the exhaust note a change of rear silencers was all it took to get the note back, his 2008 had a full system on so he was comparing it with that & not the standard system. There are a few out there with super low miles on & with the S coupe being released there are some great deals on nearly new.
Enjoy your new CL63

The ones currently available are quite out of my price range, mainly due to their low mileage. A late 2010/early 2011 one with around 40-60k miles would fall into my price range nicely (going by price guides, as well as this lovely one for £45,000 that I did miss as I was a couple of weeks late!!!!). Don't worry about it they'll start becoming available around February March as they get traded in for the new S Coupe & the new 15 plate comes into effect so be patient & the right car will turn up my dad waited Four months to get his one.ZX10R NIN said:

Ok, I shall keep my eyes open and remain patient Hi Tom,
I stumble into the Merc forum and who should be there but Mr C.
CL63....really?
I must admit to having seen the extraordinary value in the older model CL55 but surely with a CL63 you are just walking into a massive depreciation fest.
I would personally much prefer the N/A 6.2 to the boosted 5.5 although I am sure you are attracted by the possibility of chipping it to some absurd number.
What about a CLK63, same concept but smaller and still has that gorgeous engine: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/m...
For the record, my C63 PPP has done 19.9 over the entire life of the car. We had a long trip on a space saver over Christmas and I even nudged over 27 mpg. I've also just signed up to Mercs servicing plan which gives me 2 services for the price of one and unlimited breakdown, loan car etc...

I have been looking at the CL63 (i.e. V8), with mild interest over the last year or so - looks pretty reasonable, if spec'd properly. But I opted for a new Maserati Grandturismo MC Stradale, fully loaded with four seats. It's a great car. I've had it for 7 months now......and now I find myself looking at the CL65 (i.e. the V12)........Oh bugger!

LOL I have the GranTurismo Sport Line which is a great car but when I swap with my dad & use his CL63 for a while I have this niggling feeling that although I love the the Maser I'm more of a CL guy. DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!02joe said:
I know of a 2011/61 reg with 34,000 miles that will reach the dealer network soon. White with black leather. No idea what they will retail it at.
It was returned to the lease company 3 weeks ago.
Awesome car, awesome speed, awesome cruiser.
