Out of interest, what is the reason behind nitromors rather than getting the shell bead blasted or dipped? Obviously you know what you're doing, and I would love to do a full-on resto/mod one day.

Really only because I wanted to experiment and see what it would look like without spending a lot. I media blasted the 190sl, and I'd highly recommend that. Never dip imo.

I think the car would be perfection if finished to the same standard as the SL. By that I mean a lovely shiny paint job rather than the 'rat look'. however its your car, its an epic project and yours to express as you will. Great work.

Latest so far is that the rear diff is in - so the car is now seated on both subframe.
