C63 weistec Supercharger install
Discussion
The Long tube headers and "valved exhaust" allow you to go to Stage 2 which involves a pulley change (creates 8PSI boost i think) then a quick re-flash from Weistec / MSL and then 670BHP!!!!!!
I know you can not use that sort of power but hey the old saying says "You can never have too much power"

Hopefully the dates will land correctly for the Vmax event, will certainly be interesting to see how close I can get to the 200 mark.
Fully agree, you can never have too much power, coming from a chap with a 1.500 hp 911 that still searches for more :-)At 640 hp, I would think you can brake 190 on a decent day and with a clean line into the straight. It really depends on how much power disappears in transmission and avoiding heat soak. The S/C's suffer from intake temps when pushed hard. They are blistering quick off the line and roll ons, but on sustained accel, they generally tail off once up in speed.
The Vmax events we have seen Rebellion with an impressive C6.3, awesome sound and a real contender, not sure about power, but it sounds like a Nascar.
Anything under 700hp will never crack 200 on Brunts. On a good coold'ish day with no wind Aventadors and F12's can just get to 200/201. A few years ago we had a day with headwind and I only just managed to get to 200 with my 9e25 Porsche (real 750hp). To give you guys an idea, we see 458 and MP4's struggling braking 190 on perfect runs and every mph beyond 190 requires serious power as well as decent weather.
Speed as such ain't really the challenge if the car is well build, the thing that plays with your mind on Brunters is the constant acceleration towards a dead end. If you get braking wrong, it's all over. Last time I ran endless pax runs with my 9eXX through the speed trap at 225. It wasn't only the accel or speed that scared the PAX, they all were chocked over the braking force and most didn't think I could brake in time. At the end of the day I went out alone and did 229.6. 9e wanted the record despite not being able to run the car at more than 75-80% power. Probably good no PAX were in the car, it was a little exciting :-)

That must take nerves of steel for a 229 run knowing its a dead end at the end of the road!!!Speed as such ain't really the challenge if the car is well build, the thing that plays with your mind on Brunters is the constant acceleration towards a dead end. My car is just a daily run around and i had the seats dropped and skirting board and a couple of bags of plaster in the back a couple of weeks ago. So if I could get close to 180-190 i would be pleased. Hopefully get to Santapod in April and get a few quarter mile runs in and see what figures i can get there. (I will make sure there is no garden rubbish or building materials in the back on the day though)

Look forward to see your S/C C63 at next Vmax... Btw, If you see heat soak limiting power when up in speed, you might wanna consider Aquamist.
Just a quick update on the project.
As most who have followed the car is now running at stage 2 (714 BHP)
The car is booked in at MSL again (during there Dyno weekend) to have a Weistec Ice Tank install carried out which should help keep the IAT's down, and help recovery from any heat soak issues. (Possible valve body upgrade on the transmission and a TCU re-map if time permits)
And then the car will be ready for the next Vmax event and lets see how close we can get to the 200mph
