Like others I have to say that anytime is good to buy a C63! I never thought of myself as a Mercedes sort of person (I am under 70 ... but only by a handful or so years) but after a life of Porsche and BMW I bought a 10 plate C63 PP a couple of months ago for a little less than half of the original price. And I love it ....

Mine was a new, unregistered (but dealer stock) C63. £2k deposit and £700/pm for 24months. Based on 10,000mls/year. 9ppm excess on mileage if you go over the allowance.

Not bad I thought...

Yup but with only £2k down.

You could get the payments down to around £400/pm but then the deposit sky-rockets!

Just to clarify my C63 order which I collect in about 16 hours and 19 mins.

C63 estate with harmon kardon, rear tints, dab, rear camera, 19" alloys.

15k deposit and £279 pm x24 PCP this is with a substantial discount of about 10k and the car was a cancelled order but unregistered. the first quote was £212 but the salesman made an error and had to back peddle somewhat.

The next best quote I got after phoning around half the country was £370 per month and £590 on a 507 edition. Hope this helps

I take it the final payment is more than the deposit?

My order (which I have a confirmed delivery date of 1st May) was for a pre-registered showroom car (registered January 2014). I've took a 2-yr lease with £4,500 down and £506/month for the following 23 months. It would have been £469/month but I wanted a car with 19" alloys and the HK sound upgrade so I ended up paying slightly more.

Its currently got 10 miles showing on it and I really don't mind having a lease car that shows a slightly older plate for two reasons:

1. I am going to put my own plate on it
2. A 63 plate is the best plate for this car anyway smile

It's definitely a good time to buy a C63! I picked mine up yesterday after rejecting a faulty SLK55 AMG. It's amazing! Get one whilst you can! Such a shame this engine will soon be gone...

It's always a good time to buy a C63, I've had my one for a year and a half, and once I got past the constant butterflies in the early days of ownership, you'll soon find yourself up in S+ all the time. Can be a bit tricky in mildly moist conditions, and I average 15mpg, but the noise of the engine, the approving nods from other road users, and the pop and crackle through tunnels and when decelerating to a set of traffic lights make it all worthwhile.
