One very angry c63 owner!

That's certainly a one-off, every now and then all manufacturers produce a 'lemon'. I'm not sure it's enough justification not to buy another unless the customer service was below par.The contents of the sump looked like a scrapyard.

At the time it was a (if I recall correctly) £7k option if you also ordered PPP. I am not sure but I think this was only available on the ED125 cars?
Not seen it on the options list. You sure you're not mistaking the 'Composite Brake Package' you get on the PP and PPP cars? Thats only a steel / aluminium composite, not carbon.
My car is a May 2012 coupe Ed 125. I had the limp mode issue on a trackday at Goodwood. Lasted 2-2.5 laps and then limp mode. I went out 3 times and then gave up.
I complained to Mercedes and they found an error code on the gearbox and cleared that and reflashed the software.
I didnt dare take the car to the Ring in case it wasnt fixed but spring this year at Goodwood it did 3 sessions at same pace as before with no problems. I am not sure it is cured or not tbh. I assume the reflash updated the temperature to the 145deg.
I was too nervous to take to Spa though in July and took my older Boxster - which was great but I really craved the power of the C63.
I bought the C63 as a car for all uses including the odd trackday. So it has been disappointing to need a 2nd car for the track !! But I do love the car and wouldnt want to get rid of it. Now how can I get the 507 power ????
