AMG C63 Black Series love!
Discussion
Just about 2 years ago I signed up on a 2 year deal for my C63 Black - what a car! 22 months down the line, it's nearing replacement time, and I'm finding it so hard! I could pay the finance company off and run the car 'ad in finite un', but fancy a change! I'm in a fortunate position regarding choice of cars, yet find it so hard when the BS has set the bar so high!
I've just driven the new M4 as well as a 991 S, .. both 'nice', but just not in the same performance league as my Merc! The Merc is so good it put the final nail in the coffin of my Ferrari 599.
So, hats off to the guys & gals at AMG, you've created an absolute legend! A really tough act to follow!

Hi there.
I just signed up for a new c coupe amg business hire.
I dint know you could get a black series(?) if comfortable can you tell me your 24 month deal?
I too believe I'll keep the car after the 24 months and try and strike a deal to buy it. Have they given you a price?
How was the running costs as an everyday car? Did you use for work?

It's sold! Took a while to go, and never wanted to tempt fate until the cash was in the bank, but now my Black is with its new owner!
Overall a fantastic ownership period, and for once I didn't suffer too badly financially owning a £100K car - start to finish interest & depreciation works out at £11K - £1/mile ( not including fuel)
Highlights - hitting 182mph on the German autobahn; couldn't quite hit the max!
Av consumption over 11K miles was a very good 18.6mpg - and surprisingly managed 25 mpg on one M-Way run!
My new 911 will be collected this week - a power downgrade over the BS, and no doubt nowhere as good financially.

I sold mine through a local specialist cars company - it was advertised with Pistonheads initially. There doesn't seem much moving - the same cars appear to be still there after 2 months, and we ended up taking a chunk off to get the one buyer required.............but I only needed the one person :-)

Yes, been watching them for a while, some seemed to hang around, like tech one at nick whale cars but now there seems to be only about three for sale ATM.
There's 5 on PH's (expanding the search to both AMG & C-Class); same 3 appear on Autotrader They are a cracking car only minor critism being the interior could have had less vinyl and more leather! I did get a quote from D-Class when I first got mine to leather the dash, door tops etc and make it a bit more plusher; more befitting a £100 grand car. There again, it's not what the 'Thug' is about!
