....with I hope the best service history/maintenance file that money can buy. It is a 191,000 miler (ouch!!), 1 owner from new with every piece of paper/original invoice from new (all MB main dealer) and all MOT's. The total value for these invoices comes to £34,609....... So I hope it is right! It has had over £4k spend within the last year.......

There have been a few extras from new, Bose, phone, nappa leather, and a few things I cannot make out.

There are a couple of issues which need sorting and I suspect that they aren't going to be simple.

1. No sound from the audio/nav/TV/phone etc.
2. Entrance System (steering wheel) - do not drive
3. An SRS light.

Any thoughts on any of the above would be helpful!

Pics to follow when I can take some in a nice place.

Hope this was interesting for someone!

Cant help with the issues your having but would be great to see a picture or 2 when you get a chance.

I would have thought a good auto-electrician could sort out most issues, if not is there a fairly local Mercedes Specialist near you.

Hi Any news.

How did you get on.

I've just bought a 2003 CL500. Keyless go doesn't work either.

Well - the parking sensors gave up a couple of days after I bought it - which is a real shame actually as I don't want to put 'marks and dings' on it - otherwise I suppose I should man up and learn how to park properly lol!

I found out why I have no sounds from the stereo/nav etc - the back/bottom of the CD-changer is rusted to fk and of the three cables that should be connected only one was as the others had rusted off. I have 'borrowed' the CD changer from SWMBOs CLK320 but still haven't fitted it yet as (surprise surprise!) the colour coding on the three pin connector are different between the two cars.....

Over all it's doing 17-18 to the gallon and I am still stuck with the error message 'Entrance postion - do not drive' - relating to the steering wheel - on the dash. I have been promised a copy of stars which I will chase up this week and see what I can get hold of and see if that helps!

Otherwise I'm very pleased, very quick, quiet, comfortable etc. Everyone else thinks its cost a million dollars (which isn't an issue but is nicer than everything thinking it was bargain basement!)
