A45 AMG real life costs

Hello all,

Currently very interested in the fruity A45 AMG.
Madly it was the fuel economy that I marvelled at being a combine 40.9mpg.

My biggest question is what are people returning in real life?
Mainly long distance motorway trips is anyone returning close to 40?

Additionally has anyone got any figures for a years running yet?

28mpg is more realistic. Otherwise its pretty cheap to own for an AMG. Tyres etc are the usual costs.

Still confuses me why people worry about running costs when looking at these sorts of cars. Just enjoy it!

I'd agree with 28mpg, even on a very long motorway run of 300 miles I haven't see better than 33mpg with ECO enabled on super unleaded.

Running cost wise if your doing 13k or fewer miles pa then £36 per month for servicing (excl pads, disks etc), upto 17k miles pa and £48 per month and finally 20k pa and £60 per month.
