Hi Paul,

Just sold mine. Went first week it appeared for full asking price.

1988 Signal Red, Cream sport-check, 3 owners, 31,534 miles.

Sorry that I won't see yours around Upper Saxondale again.

Chris.

Wow, that's a great price, assume SOR?

My question is purely out of interest, I have the same, a signal red '88 300, but with 61k miles - it's been in the family for almost 25 years so won't be going anywhere.

Not for sales admittedly, but for spares the SL shop have been good to deal with, assume similarly for the sale?

First class.

They have standards that they will not compromise.

After all the car's i've owned across the years, the 300 R107 is the car i've missed the most after selling.

But, after a long search (and at great expense) - i maybe back into another :-)

BTW, as per the OP's question, which is the most prevalent MB Club Forum that organises meets etc?

The official MB club is probably the best for an active R107 forum and organised meets.

Seconded. I’ve been a member for years, only been to a few meets but friendly bunch.

The 107 section on the forum has always been very helpful and the monthly mag The Gazette is good.

Only downside is annual fee has gone up a lot in recent years. I think it partly contributed to the mutiny in the ranks which saw the board being forced out.

Thanks Spy. I assume this is the "official" club? https://mercedes-benz-club.co.uk/
