I'm looking to pre-order the new C63S. Drive the Deal is showing it at about 8% discount, but my local dealer so far does not want to play.
Anyone any ideas on what I could expect to be able to negotiate from a Mercedes dealer? And if anyone has a particular dealer they know is being kind in this regard perhaps a PM if they they don't want to say outright?

Looking forward to going back to an AMG after 3 years in my RS5

I would be astonished if any dealer offered a discount, mbuk would have a fit! It's worth a few phone calls though, good luck!!

Why not just buy through Drive the Deal? The 8% is as good as you'll get before the car is launched and it'll still be supplied by a MB dealer anyway.

Getting rid of the A45 already?
A mate of mine is trying to get a refund on one due to the dash and passenger seat rattling which they can't cure!

The A45 was only a stopgap between selling my 2010 PPP C63 and the new 2015 PPP C63 coming out. Seeing as they've changed / renamed the PPP as the new C63S and will be available immediately I may swap sooner rather than later. 700bhp+ is very tempting!

Ive had no rattle issues with my A45 at all but I know some of the earlier ones did. Build quality has gone up recently, as has the reliability of the turbo units.

My MY2012 C63 PPP rattles like a baby with a box of tic-tacs. Keeps going back, getting solved, then rattling again.

Spoke to my cousin yesterday (sales at mb Perth) and he reckons dealers can't match the 'drive the deal ' quotes so are in effect untrue in their promise.......... for now! Further down the line maybe, but for now mb are offering no discount.

I have bought through DtD, albeit a few years ago now. The car was sourced from a dealer in Scotland. I live in the south and none of the local dealers could get close to the price. My brother bought the same model a year or two later. Did his own ringing around and eventually sourced from the Stoke area. In spite of being 200 miles away it was worth his while. It seems location makes a difference.

Got a call back from DtD this avo. No dealers are taking px on new C63s so id have to hand back or sell the A45. Also, no discount on outright payment currently. I did receive a pcp quote based on the dtd 8% discount. With £10k deposit and over 48 months they want £1009 a month. That negates the savings as gfv was only £25k. Maybe best to wait a year.

Before my A45 I was being offered the E63 for £730 a month so the new C really isn't a good deal just yet.

But the cars are still supplied by Merc dealers, which if I am correct, you can visit for a hand over. So, not as though it's a secret.

What he meant was, the dtd quotes are a bit ahead of time. They will be available later on, just not now whilst full value demand is strong.

I've just ordered a new car as a stop gap, but my stop gap is to wait until the new C63 is 2-3 years old and go for a good lease deal again after all the fuss dies down.

As with all new 'wanted' models there are no deals.
