My dealers demo also arrived, conveniently in the same colour I've ordered (which is the first time I've seen it properly and finally I'm happy with my choice).
It sounds utterly rude, and I say that despite coming out of an SLS. It actually feels an even higher quality product too - the materials, construction and even how the solidity when the doors close are outstanding.

Yes it does in those pictures but when I see another Merc on the road in what I think is hyacinth, they can often look really dull (and much darker than those pictures above imply). There isn't another similar dark metallic red that you can get on C/E classes that I'm seeing is there?

Good pics, thanks for posting. I popped down on Sat morning too. Interior was good. It has the standard seats which I went for and they were great, very comfortable.
Priced up my insurance the other day, as the car has appeared on the insurance co systems now. Not too bad I guess. Elephant was best I could find.

Agree on the seats - thought they were very good. I went for the sports seats (given they were the only ones I'd actually sat in prior to confirming the spec), but the standard seats were better than I was expecting and felt like they'd be excellent for long journeys too.Priced up my insurance the other day, as the car has appeared on the insurance co systems now. I was also pretty surprised at how reasonable the insurance was ... perhaps I'm getting old!!
