Considering one as a company car over the standard C-Class.
I'm aware they are A Class size but I'm wondering if anyone has got one and thought, damn should of putted for the C-Class saloon.

A guy(in his 60s) down my road bought one then 6 months later changed it for a CLS. He remarked it was a little too small for day to day use.
It will only be me using it from Monday to Friday and the wife and 2 kids of a weekend. Kids are 3 and 10.

Any comments would help

Thanks

Its FWD which puts a lot of people of. They do look smart though (if a little small)

I gave serious thought to getting a CLA, but as a family car I felt it was too small and too compromised. The swoopy shape makes the back doors quite difficult to get in and out of, and while the boot is a reasonable size, the opening is small, and an awkward shape.

For a family of 4, I would stick with the C Class (or similar), personally.

The new C Class is the best every day Mercedes available imho, it beats the E Class hands down and it up there with the CLS in terms of finish and ride quality, no way would I consider a CLA over one.

Headroom in the CLA is very limited and feels claustrophobic if you are taller than 6ft.

The new c class is a real treat. It's a wonderful car.

Apart from the droopy rear, I really liked the new C Class, but the current choice of engines is dire so BMW are getting my money this time.

The C200 petrol is sweet as a nut. But need to wait till next year for the new direct injection straight sixes to arrive on the Merc.

Sadly, I couldn't wait that long. As I said to the Merc dealer, if there had been a nice 6 cylinder (petrol or diesel) C class available, then i'd probably have bought one there and then. I haven't driven the C200, but 184hp is just not enough for me.
