Help in possibly buying a CLK 320 cdi

I'm thinking of changing cars and buying a 2004/6 CLK 320 CDI. Are there any problems to look out for or options particularly worth having? I like the Elegance rather than Avantguard spec (must be getting old) and would want automatic. Comments on real world MPG would also be appreciated.
