C Class interior facelift on its way

Facelift tech sounds good. Don't mind the idea of a tablet style display and has potential to look quite good and easy to update compared to a built in unit. But i do question why they put in such a cheap looking screen. If the bezel around it was any larger they wouldn't even be room for a screen. I can't believe for a few £ more they couldn't have got something a bit better quality, but if its a stop gap till some much better face lift maybe this is why they haven't invested too much effort.

Is it possible that is will be dropped a bit, making it more discreet, like the AMG GT?
