Hoping that some of you could lend a bit of advise. My C63 started pulling to the left the other week and I was having to hold the steering wheel to the right to counter act, thus meaning the car is always "turning".

I have been to 2 different places now and they have adjusted around 5 times on separate occasions to sort and get the steering wheel straight but it just won't happen.

First off nit was to the right, then to the left, the back to the right at. Greater angle and then again back to the left. The system that the tow places have used are the Hunter and Corghi (sp) full laser systems and all adjustments are in the green, but the steering wheel will just not go straight.

It is now really annoying so does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions? Does the tracking need to be "out" to get things lined up?

It's a very common issue and ninja to sort. Something to do with the adaptive rack so im told.

You need Wheels in Motion in Chesham - they're experts at this and managed to sort this very problem when I had my C63. They fit different adjuster bolts which are a proper Mercedes part to enable the curing of pulling to one side!

Yes it's a pain, and after having had mine adjusted for tracking, alignment and caster, it still is sensitive to the road and appears to pull left.....I imagine all roads 'should' have a camber to allow water drain off? And by the same logic, very few are thus flat. Occasionally when I am certain everything is clear, I'll position my car in the middle of the road (straddling the centre white line) and it travels dead straight. The pull is pronounced at motorway speeds, and the car would, if I let it, switch lanes on its own! One option could be to have it slightly adjusted to the right to compensate....?

Cheers for the responses guys.

I fully expect to pull to the left, all cars do on our lovely British roads, but it the th acute angle of the steering wheel which is annoying me. It's either right hand down, originally, then left hand down, now back to right after adjustments. Only started a week or so again, think I hit a drain or pot hole or something.

I was thinking does int need to be adjusted so it is "out" a little, with maybe a little bit of toe in?

Getting steering wheel straight is not rocket science...just need to find somewhere who can operate the equipment.
Pulling to the left..hmmm shouldn't do that on a motorway...suggest you get it to a better garage...watch then do it....and btw tell then to run a lot less rear toe in...factory spec is nanny state and wears the tyres at a prodigious rate..

Mine did this for a bit. The steering wheel was noticeably turned to the right whilst driving in a straight line. Took it back to Mercedes and they tracked it etc and it solved it first time. The car does pull ever so gradually to the left but I don't think that's anything out of the ordinary.
