Not a single SLS on Autotrader...

An SLS roadster has finally appeared on the market - at £150k
It's not even the 'right' colour being black, but does look absolutely stunning in my opinion:

The right colour for the roadster is black (IMO), I don't think it looks good in many other colours apart from grey with a red roof, whereas the gullwing looks good in most colours, especially blue, grey or black. Will be interesting to see if it sells at that price, its way more than the Tom Hartley car a few weeks back. What do you guys think the prices of the gull wing will reach by the end of the year is it possible they could hit £200k,
or even as a very long term investment maybe 5 or 10 years.?
Hard to say, although we've heard of (from a Mercedes Sales manager) of an unregistered zero miles gullwing. Figures around the £200k mark are being discussed. or even as a very long term investment maybe 5 or 10 years.?
Its always a little crass to discuss value, but nice to know that there's an appreciation of these cars.
Values ought to rise, on the basis that there isn't another gullwing design in the pipeline, as far as I'm aware, and the world of the performance car in general is moving away from large capacity V8s.
My son and his grandfather are off to Bavaria in the SLS next month, just hoping the weather improves.

Why the sudden interest in the SLS? Is it a temporary thing driven by values rising i.e. is it self perpetuating?
I think the SLS has long been predicted to become a future classic - glad they're going up since I bought mine! The values of anything only increase as a result of demand, but the rate of increase may start accelerating if more people want to jump on the band wagon. I hope they do! Prices have yet to reach the original list price (except for the odd zero miles car) but I think interest, demand and prices will only grow from here.Edited by propaganda on Saturday 21st March 11:41

That's two at £160k... and mine has half the mileage of either
Two options:
A. drive it more and enjoy it by being less precious about the mileage
B. cash my chips in and buy back my previous Aston which I miss and has just come back on the market
A bit of a first world conundrum...
Drive it more.....I feel you're dilemma as I've only just jumped back in mine after a long stay in the garage to save miles.....mile watching is crazy, we're a long time deadTwo options:

I don't know what Aston you had but dynamically not a patch on the SLS.....plus I'm not sure it'll increase in value

I bought my car, second hand with 3k miles, almost exactly 2 years ago in May 2013.
At the time, i enquired about finance, and balloon payments etc. Finance company's 2013 estimate of what a 2010 SLS coupe was going to be worth in 2015, was £56k...
