The roadster that was up for £160k at Bramley appears to have sold, only the black one at £150k is available now. A dealer called me yesterday with an offer on mine as he has a customer looking for a silver roadster... I'm not ready to sell yet though, especially at the price he offered! I'm increasingly coming round to the idea of keeping it and using it a bit more, particularly as it has such low mileage - it is a 2011 car with only 7k on the clock. driving

A friend had a London trader offer him retail money for a c63 black series.

I think the black one would easily have sold if it was with Bramley or Tom Hartley etc. Some people will not want to spend £150k at a portacabin.
Does anyone have a metallic blue SLS to sell or a Black series or GT edition in any colour? Would prefer to buy a one owner car direct from the owner ideally.

Nope, definitely not, why do you ask? Check out my profile on here and that should convince you. I'm quite well known in the Hampshire area as I've been known to organise a hoon or two... driving

Was tongue in cheek. Your posts in this thread are reminiscent of his in EVERY thread he post in, that's all.

Wow, seems pretty steep, very much top end for a coupe!

Don't understand the sharp fluctuations. The roadster was priced below the coupe only a few months ago and now has gone up by nearly 40k! I understand prices are going up but that is a massive spike. Coupe prices appear to have held around 135-140k. Maybe will still rise slightly to come in line with the newer more expensive ones coming onto the used market. Doesn't matter to me as I've already sold mine! frown

As always, the prices are set by supply and demand, there only appears to be one Roadster for sale at the moment and there were way less built in the first place. They (all SLS) still have a fair way to go to reach their original list prices but are already way higher than many of them will have cost when new.
Really regretting selling my 20 month old 7,000 mile Gullwing for £90,000!

The roadster is considerably rarer than the coupe - there are almost four times as many coupes in the UK. Total figure for the roadster is 75 cars and for the coupe 293. Anyone know how many of each were built in total?

I've just treated mine to a new number plate today...

BE57 SLS biggrin

It may not be the best, but it is the best one I own laugh

That GT sold for the full asking price at MB Chelsea. Have you seen what has come up lately?

SLS values will certainly keep increasing, such a unique beautiful car which has only recently been recognised as one of the greats. Get in while you can, especially with these super rare editions!

Well, it seems prices are still on the up... £185k for a low spec SLS roadster in one of the least favoured colours:

I think you will find thst black is one of the most desirable colours, most dealers will prefer to buy stock in black or grey to white, red and silver SLS. I had a silver one and it was nowhere near as nice as my black car, obviously it's all down to personal taste. I think the gullwing looks best in metallic blue but very few were sold in that colour so the market didn't agree.
Will be interesting to see if that car sells for £185k.

YEs....I have a blue SLS and I've never seen another yet a lot of people agree with you and I've had numerous people trying to buy it for the colour alone but strange that so few ordered it. Apparently it was a launch colour for the UK so maybe that's what put buyers off because launch colours often become common

When i was looking for an SLS in 2014 i looked at one in a dealers near Manchester 2011 in silver. 5 owners and the front end had been painted. The price was if memory serves me correctly around £97k or slightly more. Anyway it sold a couple of days after i looked at it. Now it has returned recently and the dealer is now asking £159,500.

I bought a really nice 2010 gullwing and have owned it around 14 months now. In June this year i had it valued professionaly and they told me in 5 years it will be worth double what i paid for it. Going by the asking prices now i guess it may double in value a lot quicker than 5 years.

A was told last week that an owner with a black gullwing just traded it in for a new AMG GT The mercedes dealer loaned him a car free of charge for a few months untill the new one arrives. The owner also received a cheque from the dealer for an undisclosed sum of money.

So its difficult to decide whether to sell or not.
