A was told last week that an owner with a black gullwing just traded it in for a new AMG GT The mercedes dealer loaned him a car free of charge for a few months untill the new one arrives. The owner also received a cheque from the dealer for an undisclosed sum of money.
I think that'll be me byebye

It is true I made a nice today sum on my SLS although I suspect it would be a bit more had I sold it now. Probably not a huge amount more as mine would've been on c.35k miles by now.

And yes, my dealer have loaned me a free car....since November. As it's fully expensed (other than fuel) that itself is worth a few £k's so I really can't fault them.

This is especially so because the original agreement was based on my GT arriving in May. When it ended up being August the dealer honoured they commitment to keep me in a car until the GT arrives. It's not like they're putting me an a lowly B-class either - I've had 2 A45 AMG's and I'm currently in an ML...all brand new when I get them. The GT has now been delayed again until early-mid September and whilst the free car continues, I really would rather have my GT now.

Good to see that your GT has now arrived - and looks stunning.

Quick SLS update - there are now 10 SLS on Autotrader including 4 RHD roadsters (the most I've seen advertised since I bought mine a year ago). Roadsters in particular seem to be climbing in value - the least expensive RHD is £170k with 17k miles and the most expensive £195K with 5k miles. Next stop £200k???
