C350 Petrol Coupe
Discussion
I've found it a little annoying that a huge gulf exists between the slightly anaemic C180 and the full fat C63 AMG in so far as petrol C Coupes go. I fancy the C350 as a good compromise, but it's no longer availbale and only 2 or 3 are on Autotrader.
So does anyone know when the C350 petrol coupe stopped being sold? And how many were sold in the UK? I've tried howmanyleft but obviously can't get the exact model name right.
Thanks.

Funny to read this as this is how I ended up with the 350 coupe. The C63 was out of the budget but the 350 was in. The 180 is way too slow. An extra Mercedes discount also allowed me to tick almost all the extras.
Quite a rare car but its perfect for us, enough oomph, looks nice (with the AMG kit) and good for cruising or even a shoot around the mountain passes here in Switzerland.
I guess most people in this market go for a 335i BMW hence the rarity. i'd already had a 330i so I fancied a change.

Not A C Coupe but how about an E Coupe with a 4.7 Twin Turbo V8 402bhp 440ft/lb & an average of 32mpg £285 per year R/Tax.

Also if you map them they're making 498bhp 531ft/lb that's a nice figure to work with.

I've been in one at MBWorld. Fast!! And possibly somewhat economical too.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...

Just get a C63 or like me, you might be constantly wishing you had one.
However I found it to hard to justify a C63 as the purchase premium, insurance, running costs etc are a lot more than the already fast enough and perfectly usable C350. But the sound of a C63 is worth the extra surely.....
Sorry no idea about number sold or still around, but I had literately a choice of 2 when I wanted one.

Mid-range/ non-performance petrol cars do seem to be getting less popular these days. The base model will sell because its cheap and the top end model sells because its fast. Everything in between ends up been diesels. Sad but unfortunately the way the market is going. Hope you can find one!
