Has anyone received their AMG GT-S yet

Now the cars have started to arrive with dealers have any customer cars been delivered yet? About to bite the bullet and haven't had chance to go and try one first.

No, but I'll be driving my dealers demo in the next week....which will just be a big tease whilst I wait for 1st Sept!

What I have been doing is rocking around in a new C63S which has been loaned to me for the day and I can confirm the engine is superb - it sounds at least as good as the 6.2 and in some cases even better (such as through the mid range where it has an even better 'woofly' character that you can even feel through your body). Throttle response is very impressive too - OK, not quite as good as the N/A 6.2 in every scenario but it's the best turbo I've driven yet....hugely better than the 5.5 biturbo in our ML63.

This engine installed in the 150kg+ lighter GT will be outstanding.

I'm sure there are a couple in London. Shmee (spelling??) has posted a few on his blog in the big smoke. There are also a few on the Gumball currently.

Saw a blue GTS on the westbound M27 near Portsmouth today. Looked epic! Very smart.
