Well, I still have it.

Not really thought about it as have been busy travelling for work.

Excellent..must dig mine out soon,got a 2500 mile Euro trip planned in May,last year took the Boxster but it's the E500's turn this year,know some excellent deristricted Autobahns in southern Germany

I'd love to hear the thoughts of someone who's driven both the 500E & E60,is the extra power and torque of the 6.0L really noticable?

Very noticeable, but finding an E60 is time consuming. Currently trying to source one for a client but with import Duty and Tax/ shipping from HK or Japan they are very expensive, but always in superb condition from our contacts.
So not nearly as easy to shift as a 500E or E500. Either way my wife's favourite of all the hundreds of cars over the years is ---------a 500E...!

Never seen an e60 in the flesh. Neighbour has a 90's S70 Amg tho in black. Massive presence any time he has it out.

Thanks,even thought about converting my own E500 to 6.0L E60 spec but not really viable due to cost,maybe in the future.There very desirable in Japan and very rarely come up for auction now,cannot remember the last time I saw one! we tend to hunt late low mileage high grade E500's but even those are getting harder to find!

The original 500E wins for amber indicators and proper grill. They are plenty quick enough although more is always welcome. I'll take mine in smoke silver over black
