Will diff from 99 s430 fit 99clk430

Hi Guys , as always I know that can rely on your opinion. Today I've attended RWYB at Santa Pod in my 99 clk430 turbo. It did good 14.4. However LSD would help greatly and here where expensive gets. LSD from official source is big ££s (circa £1600 with fitting ). Was same type of diff fitted to S430 as to Clk?
Just thinking about welding diff and there are none for sale standard diffs from clk430. However there are always few from S430. Will it fit drive shafts and prop?
