V230 won't start when facing downhill!

As title suggests. I've got a 1998 w638 v class 2300 petrol. Always started on the button. Last two nights I've left it facing downhill and it won't start. It did eventually start but misfired for a few secs then cut out. Rolled it onto flat and it started first time! Anybody have any idea what this could be? Thanks in advance (ps got loads of fuel in tank)

Slow fuel pump, cloggy filter?

Sounds like potential candidates. Any idea if they're easy to change or where they are located?
