CLK 63 Black Series

Hello all,
I've taken a journey into the unknown and bought a CLK Black Series, I've never owned a Merc before and I've been looking for ownership tips and advise, however, it seems thin on the ground from what I see.
So has anyone around here got one or had one that can share some experiences?
The car is at Bramleys just now and I hope to pick it up in the next week or so. Havent driven or seen it yet! It's only 4900 on the clock so assume there should be no issues.

I wouldn't say that there will be no issues but they are great cars. A popular mod is to upgrade the gearbox software so it rev matches on downshifts I think. Could be wrong but I think someone called Wtdoom had it done at MKB in Germany. There is a thread somewhere. Apart from that enjoy it.
MKB no longer offer this mod. Weistec and others do but its not quite the same.Hi all
Reviving a bit of an old thread but seems as good a place as any. I have a couple of questions re my Black Series and wondered if anyone can assist:
- does anyone know where to get hold of the carbon fibre (real not carbon effect) rear trim that I have seen on a number of cars between the empty rear seat bays i.e where the armrest would be? (not looking to discard my original one of course, will store it away safely away but quite fancy the carbon look during my ownership to complement the rest of the interior carbon)
- also, I find the driving position slightly awkward in that I like my legs to be quite straight but then the steering wheels will not come out enough so arms are too extended. Does anyone know where to source a boss kit to essentially extend the length of the steering column by a couple of inches?
