Built 1990

Shipped to Tokyo in 1991

Re-imported to UK in 2007

I bought(£1.5K) and drove out to Northern Italy in 2009 where it resides. Starts on the nail after 6 months dormancy. Every time.

67K on the clock, Full leather, heated seats, air-con, sunroof....not a spot of rust.

I keep thinking 'sell it, take 964!' .....but I just can't. Mrs A finds it a gentle and easy drive on the tight roads.

Still a good looking car, the proportions are just right. I ran a 190e for a few years until it was rear-ended and written off. Still miss that car.

These are great cars. They are very well-designed and -built. The 190 was a big step into the unknown for DB and they could not afford to get it wrong. I suspect more effort went into this car than any other in the history of the marque. They are also very, very good to drive. My wife likes hers, too, and drives it every day.

The car wash picture is great, a really original idea nicely done. I'm not a big fan of the rear tints, mind! They're not "factory"!

With that spec and mileage well worth keeping, if LHD little difference in value as there's always a market for such cars. Values are rising for good cars, checkout Mobile.de. Maybe well worth doing some form of rust treatment even if you just keep an eye on the jacking points. €10k (non 2.3/2.5 16v) are a reality .

The 1st one I drove was in "96". Compared to the company Audi 80s and A4s I had @ the time it was a delight.

£1.5k?! Where did you find it?

I'm looking for a good 190 at the moment but most of them out there are utter dogs frown

Worth a look? Belongs to a PHer. Leather and air con but manual would put me off. Still, nice car. Nothing to do with me, I may add.

Really don't want to see that, it is too tempting and too close to home. Possibly just a well it's not an auto, although perhaps I could live with that...

I did want an auto however I am very tempted to have a look because it is a very nice car. If it had an auto I would probably have bought it.
