Super Unleaded ?

Just filled my CLS with the M273 engine up with normal unleaded after a tank of Tesco 99, it felt noticeably less responsive, a few minutes and it seemed to have perked back up a bit, does anyone else notice a difference ?

At the moment I will stick to Super seeing as fuel is cheap.

Most petrol Mercs can tell which type of unleaded you've got in the tank.

My C63 was terrible on normal unleaded so I only fed it SUL!

The books for my CLK63 plus the sticker inside the fuel cap made it clear that ONLY SUL was to be used in it

My W210 2.6 V6 much more responsive on Super and at current low prices no excuse not to. Found the same in a 190E I had many years ago too.

Makes no difference in my XJ8 or 2.0T Vectra however but the wife's 2.3 Galaxy also runs better on Super.
