The post above triggered a debate about whether the SL500 being advertised there would make the asking price.

The car was in nice condition, from memory was a '97 model with five speed auto and 119 V8, panoramic roof and was a low owner car with full service history.

Most thought it would get nowhere near. I thought low to mid £20ks.

I appreciate this is two years on but.....
