How do i remove the aerial on a b class?

I don't know about the B Class, but if it's the same black rubberised aerial mounted on the rear of the roof, as per the W169 A Class, it should simply unscrew. That's how the A Class one comes off; I think it's mentioned in the handbook.

Have a look and see if there appears to be a join at the aerial base. When I took the aerial stalk off(to use a roofrack), I taped over the remaining hole and thread to stop it getting wet.

i did turn it a few times, but it didn't come off imnediately....i will try again.
Cannot find it in the handbook oft some reason.
