What Tyres on ML / GL

I thought the choice was simple - Conti Cross Contact
Now I look into it more I find that the Conti Sport Contact SUV is better for noise, wet grip and fuel efficiency. (Sorry I only know about Conti's)

What are people choosing? Would like to know about Summer and Winter Tyres.
My Summers will be on 21's whilst winter on 19's

Our 2014 X166 GL 350 is fitted with Continental Conti Sport Contact 5 SUV 295/40 R21 111Y XL (MO) TL

The winter wheels are 20" with Pirelli Scorpion Snow & Ice 275/50 R20 109H (MO). We had to go 20" as 19" don't fit the AMG Sport version because of the discs/calipers, which was annoying as we already had a full set of X164 GL 19" winter wheels with barely used tyres on! Really must put them on eBay ....

In both cases we've stuck with the official sizes, etc and the MO versions.

Can't fault either of the tyres types. The Pirelli winters are absolutely brilliant in all conditions and also work well through the spring. The Contis seem to wear evenly and much better than we ever managed with the Michelin rubbish MB used to fit to the X164 GL! Even MB switched to Contis after a while....

What model/year are you looking to fit them to?

Got your message but can't reply as I get the message "The email address you entered couldn't be found" so maybe PH has an old email address for you?
