Shoker91, if you decide to sell your allocation I would be interested please.
Although I put a deposit down last year I am not guaranteed a car and from what you mention probably unlikely to get one and really don't want to wait until 2019 and also don't want a GTC.
Also don't really want a Ferrari 488 or McLaren 570 but I might have to put these as options as an an alternative to the GTR.

I am possibly interested in the GTR, and have had a couple of dealers quoting for a July delivery, one for September.
Was wondering what everyone else was getting and if they were being discounted?

When did you place your deposit to get quoted a July delivery?
m2m if you've not yet placed a deposit I will be very surprised if you can get a GTR this year. I'd get the dealers you've spoken to, to confirm this in writing to you & if they then suddenly quote you a 2018 delivery that your deposit is refundable.
I understand all orders are submitted to Mercedes GB & production slots are allocated by them. I understand all slots have been allocated up to September delivery already. Also no discounts on this or the GTC models.

If you haven't actually placed an order then you'll not get a car til 2018 at earliest or more likely not at all. Dealer Configurator is live so why not just use that? Options list is not complicated either, not much to choose really.

Yes I agree, I will hold on it to it, only transfer it to another individual if I don't have the funds. I spoke to my dealer and they said I can transfer the build slot to another person. As for the configurator, according to my dealer there is no configurator available. I will speak to the dealer today and see whats what. I want to visualise the car in all the different colours and wheel options.

Thats definitely available, I sat with my sales guy before christmas and did that, its a dealer configurator but it does have the usual rotating graphics of the car.Alternatively if you just want to see colours/wheels then there is a configurator available on the .de site. Ignore the spec though their cars are more basic and then have endless options.

What do you guys think of the 2nd hand prices for this year especially?
Seeing as we know only 70 cars are being delivered for this year, the fact that this car has broken a world record, Shmee150 and Salomondrin taking delivery of the GT R this year (Im sure we will see alot of positive and exciting content of the car on their youtube channels) and the possibility that the GT R may already be sold out?
Do you guys think there will be a strong premium on the used car market?
