No I'll be getting my 488 Spider early March so it's going onto that.

I don't think anyone will be given a discount on the GTR due to the amount of orders dealers have already in the bank.

It's nuts, it doesn't look like he's in buckets either but looking at his entry speed I guess ceramics are a must

I had a build slot for a GTR some months ago but cancelled it due to the number of GTR's not being limited and the price not being known and being rumoured to be c£200,000, which I thought was too much of a premium over the GTS. With hindsight, I should probably have kept my build slot as the price ended up less than I thought it would be.

I am now seeing if I can get a build slot for a Black Series and wondering if anyone knows the chance of getting on the list for one and what the likely premium over the GTR might be bearing in mind what the premium on the previous SLS was ?

I imagine the Black Series will be over 200k. You can certainly put your name down with most dealerships but whether MB will consider you as "worthy" come allocation time will depend on ownership history and general relationship.

I don't think that I will be "worthy" as I have not had an AMG before, although have had a new Mercedes, so ownership limited and no relationship with the particular dealer before.

Might have to be a McLaren or a Ferrari instead then !

I've had my name down for the blackseries for a long time, I've owned/own other blackseries cars and I'm buying a GT R.

Still no guarantee of a GT Blackseries for me despite my best efforts. If AMG give them all to internet celebrities and sloane street heroes I'll be most upset

19/20 black wheels £510
Yellow seat belts £395
Bucket seats £-
I think the yellow belts with the yellow calipers and yellow traction knob in the centre would work well and the yellow R badge on the back.

Anything else you guys think👍

My dealer has said to me the standard specs on the GTR might change before we have to finally spec our cars. Sounded a bit strange but let's see.....

I've been told end of June delivery. Bit disappointing as I put my order in a year & a half ago however I know I'm in the top 10 orders countrywide.

I think Shmee150 & other celebs will get theirs before we do threesixty......

ceramics is a 37 pound weight reduction on the wheels. pretty huge.

really dont want to splash out on that, but st thats alot of unsprung weight..

Given the car's focus & manic time set around the ring ceramics are a no brainer. Also thinking buckets suit the cars characteristics better as well although not for everyone I'm sure.

Nice, so you guys will have the whole summer to play. Last I heard is that UK allocation have been reduced due to production capacity constraints this year so don't feel too upset about June/July delivery

Track pack, ceramics for me. the rims need to be upgraded but could someone shed some light on the 600 pounds vs the 1800 pounds upgrade there?

You might well be right re UK allocation mintbird.

I'm not going for ceramics personally. As you say it will appeal to some but not to everyone. As with similar car marques you get the christmas tree spec cars with almost every conceivable option & others with great but more normal sporty spec. Im going for the latter. I've still got time to change my mind re the ceramics but at £5k I'm not currently convinced.....

im in Norway.

its 8k here for the ceramics. its a stload of weight right at the wheels. cant help but think you will be dulling the car and its performance by cheaping out of it.

RXC wheel is 1.5kg per wheel lighter than RXA/RXB.

Personally I've specced but not hugely keen on them. Will have the silver rim painted black I think.
