Hey guys, bit of an oldie I know, but I couldn't quite afford a C63, so I settled for this. Registered November 2006 so id imagine its one of the last ones. Just means it has the 500quid tax which isn't so clever! frown

No parking sensors which I wish it had, other than that I love it to bits, done a trackday in it, got another 1 booked in September (both at Oulton park). On 70,000 miles. Never let me down once. Its very shiny in some pics because my friend machine polished it and detailed it hehe, doesn't always look like that.

Few tasty mods:
H&R Coilovers
West Tuning Custom Remap
TCU Eurocharged map
CLK 63 brakes (6 Pot Front, 4 Pot rear)
C63 paddles on wheel
Upgrading Steering wheel
Slightly larger air intakes
Carbon wrap interior trim
CLK facelift front grille

Made 398bhp and 400lbs/ft.

Nice wheels you know you can retrofit the OEM parking sensors onto the car it's a faff but it can be done.

C32 is the V6, these have a V8.

I've never seen a W203 with a grille badge that looked good...until now! Looks like a 4 door CLK.

Thing I like about these is Mercedes were conservative about the power outputs/performance times; as not to embarrass the more expensive and supposedly faster models such as the CL/SL etc.

Looks fabulous.

Always fancied one of them after a couple of C43's but I got tempted over to the family bus darkside (7 seater V8 E Class)

It really is some engine smile Never experienced the C55, but if mine is anything to go by, I'm sure it's a hoot!

Stunning - could be mistaken for a new car.

I'm picking up a CLK55 this weekend - my first V8!

Have you modded the exhaust at all? I'm already tempted by removal of the secondary cats and resonator and replacement with the X-Pipe.

Also I much prefer the wheels on yours to the CLK I'm getting although am trying to resist modifying at the moment.

I have a 55 & recommend the X-Pipe Map & a pair of K&N's you can read what I've done to mine here's an old photo of my first 55 along with the 500 & 270 I had at the time.

On my current one I've just put the X-Pipe in & left the Resonator in as I wanted it a bit more subtle.

Hehehe thanks for the kind words. Good luck with the CLK, should be great fun. Is yours the cabrio or coupe? I got really lucky with the wheels, they are very rare, as the CLK63 there off is very rare, unless you buy them new, and there very expensive. The stock wheels look great IMO. As for exhaust, its not an x-pipe as such as the exhaust goes into a single pipe in the middle then back into 2, its more a Y-pipe. Id remove the secondary cats and resonator if you want more noise, its the easiest and cheapest way.

Very nice SLK by the way jocky
