Looking at the various and many options on these and was wondering if any of you had the LSD on an estate?

Was it worth seeking out? (6.2 cars).

Ideally I would want PP too but dont see many for sale.

If there are any links or forums I can check out that would help too.

mbocuk-amg forum has all the answers you need . Yes , a diff is greatly recommended , especially a after market Quaife LSD . Had mine fitted by Eurocharged in Watford , they often do group discount deals , supply & fit . Talk to Andy/Paul , nice guys . And their remaps are very good too ! MSL are also widely praised by many , think there are up Birmingham way . Have fun .

I have an estate with PPP and the LSD. Worth sourcing if possible in my opinion.

You've seen the price of coal these days? wink

OP, what budget are you looking at for your car?

PPP cars are currently gaining value due to demand, especially if the LSD is spec'd. PP cars are not as they have the standard engine but you do get the LSD in the package. Standard cars are slowly depreciating but of course you could have an LSD fitted.

My advice: Even though you could have a Quaife fitted (I did to my first PPP) you will keep your value by sourcing a full blown PPP with LSD on the list. They are rare, but they are out there.

As for the way it drives..... unless you can get 10/10ths out of the car you'll not really notice it on road. Track work maybe!

Try a Quaife equipped car , you'd have to have a club foot not to notice the difference compared to a non LSD car .

I highly recommend the LSD on a C63... no doubt the Quaife is nice but the AMG one does the job perfectly (and it is original option so better resale value and more desirable).

Good point. Reminds me, back in my Lancia Fulvia days - Barry Waterhouse, who ran Lanciana, used to run a tracked out Beta Montecarlo - with a couple of paving slabs in its nose for stability. Worked a treat.

Ecain, what do you reckon a C63 PPP estate is worth at the moment?

I have C63 estate (62 plate), 29k, every option and I am the second owner. From memory my car was next but one on the production line after yours (the last letter of my reg is an X and yours is a V).

I have been thinking about selling it for a while but am unsure of the value due to never seeing another fully loaded estate.

I've been offered by a dealer what I paid for mine last December: £36k. Mine has 32k on the clock now and all the options. Dealers admit these are creeping up in value. Same goes with late E9x M3's with the toys.

That's amazing. How much on their forecourt?

Sadly this is delusion.

True story.

If your car has the right options I'd suggest a good dealer might offer a very good price looking at a long term prospect rather than a quick turnaround.

Lol I'm obviously looking to buy so my opinion will differ however tough times are coming.

Going back to my question tho if you got that today from a dealer how much do you reckon they will advertise the car for? Unless it was with 2 years merc warranty noone would be slightly interested at near 40k.
