Any good Mercedes specific forums to join other than this here?
I tried joining MBClub but never got an administrators email to join so only have limited access as a guest.

I Found MB club to be the most useful so suggest you try again or send them a message.

Having used the TVR section on here for some years and got used to the wealth of nut and bolt level of knowledge it seems the normal Merc owner is less likely to get the spanners out. There are some American sites which seem a bit more helpful in sorting the frequently failing electrical bits if you search a specific problem.

Yes, I agree with much of the above. I am a member of Se7ens.net. Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, it was full of technical knowledge and a lot of people physically doing engine upgrades themselves.

The TVR Cerb forum is similar albeit on a more complex car.

By comparison, the American MBWorld forum has a lot of questions with a few people offering useful answers. It is definitely a good place to read through and get more knowledge of your specific model but you're not always going to get an answer. That said, if you have a model that is prone to issues, you're more likely to get an answer.

Thanks guys.
I have tried the contact form on MB club but typically you have to be logged in as a member. Frustrating.

My name on the MB forum is Mercedes Bens not my username on here if someone could be as kind as to let the administrator know again on Mb club. He was quick to jump to the conclusion I filled in the form incorrectly.
Many thanks guys.

So, I figured out the contact form and filled it in.
Still not heard anything back.
Starting to think MB club don't want any new members.

I've started a thread for you on mbclub forum for attention of the administrator, flagging your issue. I can't see you listed as a member.

It's a good forum, well worth perservering to get onto it. Of course, they have very high standards, so it could be that biggrinbiggrin

I've activated your account, if you click the 'forgot password's link and you should be able to log in.

Killerhertz, would you be able to check why I can't get into the site properly? I'm logged in but can't post anything...

Thanks for replying.

I've tried lots of different areas...I've just tried to post in 'New Member Introductions' and got the usual messsage about not having permission to access the page.

KillerHERTZ, any chance you could try and unlock my profile at MB Club? Same username over there, I have been trying to reset my password for months but no emails seem to come through.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, about the big prune, but what went on over on another forum should stay on the other forum it doesn't need bringing up on this thread.

So back on topic please.
