Dear all
Would be grateful for advice on either or both of the 2 issues below.
1. Took car in for repair of park assist which was inoperative. Required new radar sensor and is now working. However the distronic plus that was previously working is now no longer working. I took it back and was told that it needed a new module for distronic plus but I can't workout how it was working before they changed radar sensor and stopped immediately afterwards? any thoughts.
2. the Ignition control unit on bank 1 has also gone and needs replacement. I have been quoted £2k for the part is that about right?
Grateful for any advice. This car sure is a money pit!

I have just replaced the 'near side' 'coil pack' which is the more expensive of the 2.
Merc Benz Stoke charged me £900 [10% discount] for the coil pack and 2 hoursish to fit, say £150 per hour,
so £1200 + vat £1440.
Also they ask 4 hours to change all 24 plugs.
