Cheers Andy - the noise when it was started in the showroom bought the place to a standstill…

Thanks - yes it’s a tropical -8 in Exeter this morning, just hoping we can get home without disruptions due to the weather

Lots of carbon going on in the pics - I don’t know much about the GT-R - is all that standard?

That’s one mean looking car.
Happy many miles.

Congratulations, that's a great buy.

I'd been looking at that one on autotrader for a while, great spec & a very good price when you factor the 2 yr warranty etc.

No it has the optional carbon pack 1 and 2 on the exterior - it does look lovely, gloss against the matte paint!

That looks lovely! I came very close to buying a GTC - such an amazing car. What Colour is your interior?

Thanks, the car is mint with lots of nice options and with a 2 year AMG warranty it just made it so much more attractive than buying a non franchised car.

Finally got it home after the joys of the M25 being stuffed up for an hour forcing us to do some “off roading” around Gerard’s Cross….

If anyone is looking for truly amazing customer service if you’re looking for a Mercedes call George Hood at Exeter. Nothing has been too much trouble for him and his colleague's, from collecting us from the train station in a lovely S Class, to arranging for overnight accommodation and collecting us again this morning. The car had been professionally detailed for collection, absolutely zero hassles or hitches, a full tank of super to get us home and very satisfied customers!

A couple more pics before I squeezed it into the garage.

Thanks. It's pepper red and black. Had the same combo in my old selenite grey GTS.

How did you find the drive back? They are very easy to drive once you get used to the oil tanker like bonnet. Though do take it easy in this weather. Not sure what tyres you have but pilot sport 4s are the main choice.

There's a very active WhatsApp owners group if you fancy joining and are also not easily offended wink
