Out of interest and not meaning to thread hijack but how was the depreciation over 3yrs on the 180 coupe?
Actually it was four years...1.8kSEBought in 03 for £21k
Sold in 07...(px price) for 9.5k......AI unmarked perfect condition...30,000 miles...
So not too bad I don't think, seeing as you lose the VAT and dealer's profit soon as you drive out of the showroom....
The new (latest) Coupes are to be built in Brazil btw......
Hmm Maybe the new generation C180K has a more powerful engine than the previous model? I originally thought the C180K felt underpowered (but maybe not )
I had the chance yesterday afternoon to drive 3 variants of the older model (at least an hour in each).
C180K
C200CDI
C220CDI
The performance of the C200 was pretty poor & was less economical than the other two. To be fair i don't think their is much difference in the performance of the C180K & C220CDI, the fuel economy was superior in the C220...
The new generation C220CDI is superb now with 170bhp & 400nm torque & this one definately outperforms the new C180K
