I adore that. Looks fantastic on the SLR wheels.

Oh, and I love the silver.

Looks good, like the sun roof. The most common phrase from my Son in the E55 is `Blat them Dad` and from the Wife `more back tyres ?`

They are commonly in Silver, Black or Dark Blue. A nice stealth car regardless of colour.

There appears to be another 'E' in the picture above with the same wheels?

That is the E270 cdi that I replaced with the E55. I sold it yesterday (ebay.

It has the same wheels because I have always loved them and bought a new set of 19" for the E55 as soon as it arrived.

The E55 is a 2004 car and new wheels, although expensive, make a difference, although I accept not to everyone's taste.

Mark, I'm a fellow Petrol Head but being 28 I cannot afford to buy my house and run a supercharged V8 rwd 'uber' saloon. Clearly I have my priorities all wrong! With that in-mind, can you take me for a ride in your chariot and show me just how good AMG really are?

I am being serious too!

Sorry

OP
Enjoy the addictive whine from cold, the rasp from cold (gotta be outside the car)
the whine from hot when using torque

This engine is IMHO better then the 6.3 (Ive driven a 6.3 CLS its a C class I cant get to drive) in the midrange and feels very meaty.

Expect 9 mpg
