See you on the Wilmslow bypass. hehe
With any luck! Although most probably crawling along at bumper to bumper speeds, has been my experience so far!

The Nantwich bypass offers supreme driving conditions say 6am Sunday.

Mark.

I used to average 12mpg city driving. I once worked out it cost 50p a mile.

Anything between 10mpg and 16mpg around manchester; and 22mpg and 27mpg on a careful motorway run.

21.5m.p.g. In the last 8,000 miles + I did in mine smile

Drove it peacefully though, and mostly motorways.

Best I got was 27.5 going to work early one morning. No rush, but it got boring as hell.

Pic HERE for the disbelievers.

Worst? Just don't ask wink More fun though.

You must live at the top of a hill with work at the bottom?

Took the car for a spin with Tom this morning. A crawl around the gridlock of Manchester and a chance to open the valves up when the road cleared. I still averaged 21mpg for the full journey!

My word. My first experience in a supercharged V8! I would describe it as like being in a human slingshot. The acceleration from 35mph to 80mph was in a word, ridiculous.

If I were lucky enough to own such a car i know I could kiss goodbye to my licence within weeks!

Rich', you didn't have to take an internet stranger out in your new car but you did, so thanks!

I presume no money changed hands as I am sure that the 'Hire or reward element' of the insurance would apply.

I can see a queue forming......behind me! All petrol costs will be reimbursed!
